By funding programs that serve women and girls, DWF advocates for organizations combating family violence, homelessness, and health inequities, encourages girls’ prevention programs, education and training programs, and much more.
We will continue to raise money and fund programs that serve women and girls, as our mission requires. And, in fact, our heightened emphasis on advocacy arises from our vision: that women and girls will possess the dignity, skills and resources to be strong, independent, self-sufficient, and contributing members of the community. We realize that it will take policy and program changes – as well as funds – to truly improve the conditions for many women and girls in our community. We are committed to this cause.
