Annual gifts from individuals – no matter what size – help fund a significant portion of both the operations of DWF and the grants distributed. Gifts may be made by cash, check, credit card, or securities, as well as online. For gifts of securities, please download the authorization form.

Endowment Giving
A distinguishing feature of the Dallas Women's Foundation is its permanent endowment. Donors may earmark their gifts to the general endowment, thereby ensuring an enduring financial institution for women and girls in our community for years to come. Endowment funds may provide general support for the Dallas Women’s Foundation or may be designated for a particular purpose, such as the Suzanne Ahn, M.D. Endowment (link to info page) or the Operations Endowment.
Donor Advised Funds
Donors give cash, stock, or other assets to the Dallas Women’s Foundation to establish an advised fund. The donors are able to recommend how to distribute the funds, and can claim a charitable deduction for their gift.
Many individuals and families consider establishing a Donor Advised Fund before establishing a private family foundation.

Field of Interest Funds
These funds support a particular area of concern, such as girls prevention programs, economic security, or Faith, Feminism and Philanthropy. The Dallas Women's Foundation's Board of Trustees awards grants from the income of the fund on the basis of competitive applications to the most appropriate programs or organizations within the field specified.

Planned gifts, such as bequests and charitable trusts, are an excellent way to ensure the future of women and girls in our community. The Dallas Women's Foundation can provide information about gift planning and assist you as you consider your legacy.
