Issue Forum - Gender Analysis of the Texas State Budget

The lives and needs of women and girls compared to men and boys differ in documented and meaningful ways, from reproductive realities and longevity to educational achievement, labor force participation and family care giving.  A forum to be held Tuesday, Feb. 9 will examine Texas’ $80 billion annual budget through a gender lens, revealing the results of a study by Dallas Women’s Foundation and the Center for Public Policy Priorities, underwritten by the Boone Family Foundation.
